Pelvic health physiotherapy (also called pelvic floor physiotherapy or pelvic physiotherapy) is the assessment and treatment of various conditions that involve the pelvic floor or symptoms that manifest in this area. The pelvic floor includes muscles, ligaments, nerves and connective tissue. It plays an important role in the body by providing support for the bladder, genitals, uterus, and anus.

If you suffer from any of the symptoms below, you may benefit from pelvic floor physiotherapy:

1) Urgency: a strong, compelling urge to urinate or defecate that may be difficult to control.
2) Nocturia: waking at night repeatedly to urinate.
3) Constipation: difficult passage of hard stools less than three times a week.
4) Frequency: having to urinate so frequently that your normal routine is affected.
5) Incontinence: leakage of urine or feces that cannot be controlled.
6) Chronic pelvic pain: pain within or around the pelvic region present for three months or more without any positive physical diagnosis or medical explanation.

After coming to Canada She studied Fitness and Health Promotion. Garima is dedicated and passionate towards the patient oriented care. She has experience of working with patient of sports injury, post-operative rehab, musculo-skeletal problems and pain management. I am certified to perform Therapeutic Acupuncture, functional dry needling and Kinetic cupping therapy . I am Registered Pelvic floor therapist- Level-1.

Rubina is a dedicated Resident Physiotherapist in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario. Since 2019, she has been applying her extensive knowledge and skills in physiotherapy, having graduated from a prestigious university in India with excellent manual therapy skills. Rubina is experienced in treating a wide range of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, helping patients regain mobility, reduce pain, and enhance their overall quality of life. Her treatment modalities include electrotherapy and cupping therapy, which she integrates into personalized care plans. With a hands-on approach, Rubina works closely with each patient to ensure effective, evidence-based care for optimal recovery and rehabilitation.
